Privacy
The short version
Bivvy has no account, no server and no analytics. Nothing you type is sent to us, because there is no “us” to send it to — we run nothing that could receive it.
What stays on your iPhone
Your trips, campsites, meals, shopping list, gear, people and everything you write about them are stored in a database on your device.
If you turn on iCloud sync, that same data is copied to your own private iCloud account so your other devices can read it. It goes to Apple, under your Apple ID, not to Bivvy. We cannot see it.
If you share a trip, that one trip is copied into a shared area of your iCloud so the people you invite can read and change it. Only that trip travels.
What we never collect
No name, email address, phone number or contact. When you invite someone, Apple’s own sharing screen looks them up — their address never reaches Bivvy.
No advertising identifiers, and no advertising. There is no ad SDK in the app.
No usage analytics, no crash telemetry, no location tracking.
When the app talks to the internet
iCloud sync, when you turn it on. Apple carries it; we do not.
The App Store, when you buy or restore Bivvy Pro. Apple handles the payment; Bivvy is told only whether this Apple ID owns it.

Looking up an address you type, using the geocoder built into iOS. Apple handles that lookup. The campground list itself is bundled in the app and needs no network at all.
Children
A child on a trip is a name you typed and a packing list. They have no account, and nothing about them leaves your devices except through the iCloud sync and sharing you chose.
Deleting things
Deleting a trip removes it from this device and your other devices. Settings › Backup keeps a snapshot first.
Settings › iCloud sync › Delete my personal iCloud copy removes your main Bivvy workspace from iCloud. Trips with their own iCloud area — shared now, shared with you, or once shared — are ended or deleted from the trip itself.
Deleting the app removes everything on the device. Your iCloud copy is removed by deleting it in Bivvy first, or from iOS Settings › your name › iCloud.
This website
bivvycamp.com serves these pages and keeps no logs of its own beyond what its hosting platform records to operate. It sets no cookies, runs no analytics, and loads nothing from third parties.
Changes
If any of this ever changes, it changes here and in the app, in the same release that changes the behaviour.
